If you could only use "old school" lures what would you use?

Don't get mad at me for this one cause I know it's kind of like the one question we hate but just trying to have some fun with it. My favorite would probably be the Bayou Boogie (think it had different name before Heddon got it) which I like to use from time to time and still catches fish. So no Senkos or Lucky Craft junk we are talking circa 1980 or earlier fishing here.

Bass? There are two different options. One being Nick Creme's ORIGINAL Plastic Worms and the other being a Zara Spook. For Panfish, Mister Twister grubs would be my choice, with the Rooster Tail being an honorable mention.

An ORIGINAL Creek Chub Pikie Minnow (jointed of course). Either a metal-lipped one or a World War II-era plastic-lipped one. Plastic was used on a lot of lures during that time for the war effort. That or an ORIGINAL Heddon Crazy Crawler or Zara Spook.

I know you want just lures, but I'd use my dad's matching Heddon Pal rod and reel combination to use that those particular lures.

    Two words:

    SUPER FROG!!

Do you remember the craze over Super Frog? It was the hottest topwater bait on the market. I still have one in the tackle box, and it catches fish better than most topwaters because it doesn't snag up with all the muck.

    Triggerfinger
