Mirena birth control and sex....?
My sister is on the birth control Mirena...and for 2 years she has not been sexually active. recently she had sex again and the guy she was with was a little rough and she has been slightly bleeding since then.
my question is...could be have torn her down there a bit being too rough? would the Mirena have anything to do with it since she wasnt sexually active for the last 2 years?
I cant really find anything on the internet about this.

I would n't worry too much. I ve had a mirena for about 9 months now and have been sexually active the entire time. I will still spot every now and then after sex but I havn't had a period for 6 months. Plus not having sex for 2 yrs is almost like being a virgin again. the vagina opening will shrink even after not having sex for a month.

Shouldn't have anything to do with the Mirena. I think I'd go get checked out, though, to make sure everything's okay. He could have hurt her. Make him pay for it, then dump the jerk!
