Is it safe to use roach bombs in a house where a 10 month old baby lives?
We have had some hurricanes hit our area last year and the roaches came and keep getting worse and worse. We bought some Raid roach bombs to use in our apartment but we are scared that the chemicals left over might affect our children ages 10, 3, and 10 mths..Please help we are desperate to get rid of them.

If you can stay else where, maybe over thanksgiving or christmas if you have a trip planned you can bomb the house before you leave for a few days. note that roaches don't like the cold so if you do take a trip, make careful sure that there is no food in the sink, under/behind the fridge and stove (warm and common area for a roach nest) and put some roach away back there just be sure that the kiddies can't get to it, and leave the heat off if you leave for a few days. (if you live in a colder climate of coarse.) and it is really important to know that since roaches are canibalistic, leaving dead bugs around is like leaving them food and inviting more to come so vacuum and clean thouroughly any dead ones you find and immediately remove the vacuum bag from the house as dead roaches can still harbor eggs.

don't be home when you set off a roach bomb its poison and strong enough to kill a creature that would survive a nuclear bomb. Leave for a day and allow the air to disperse and do its work so that when you get back later your kids wont be in danger. You can stay or visit a friend or family member, and it's better to be safe than sorry.

Don't do it. That stuff is toxic. You know that. You could use a gel to get rid of the roaches more safely. The gel would be in places that your kids don't play near. Look for a gel instead. Don't use that bomb in your house.

Buy Boric Acid and place into lids and push in the back of your cabinets. This will safely kill all roaches.

yes..as long as you keep the kids away for 2 days and make sure everything they touch is cleaned.

well it should say on the bomb, if it doesn't say anything about it being harmful afterwards, then i would say your kids would be fine... but that's just a guess
