When I was a teen I didn't get my parents any presents. Christmas, Birthdays, Etc.. Nothing at all.

I didn't get them anything when they were still supporting me (when I was still a student) because to me it doesn't make sense because the money I would buy their gifts with was given to me by them but I totally understand teens getting their parents presents.

Now that I have a job I always give gifts even when there is no occasion. Of course I give them more expensive gifts when there are occasions like this Christmas I'm getting them a new desktop PC and I just bought them a new refrigerator. I'm not bragging btw, I'm just proud of myself. I turned out to be a good provider and a success which I think everybody doubted that I would become except my parents.

To me the best present that you can give your parents now is to do well in school, graduate and find a good job. Then buy them presents with your own money.

    Good Christmas Presents For Teens

From about the age of 12-14 I bought my parents birthday, mother/fathers day and occasionally christmas gifts.. I saved up.. I would spend about $20-$30. Part of the reason I gave them gifts is because I loved seeing their face all happy, and then guilt lol.. I would tell my mom, no gifts this year and she would be all sad.. a week later we would go to the store together and she would tell me, ooh, hannah.. you can get me this.. or oooh you can give me that.. and that is why.. I am 15 now and am saving for a trip to Europe in Georgia to see my closest friend. She was a roomate at my house.. now she lives in an apartment.. temporarily.. and then she is going to go to Georgia.. I would die if I never got 2 c her again. Anyways.. I felt like I couldn't afford buying everyone gifts.. Now.. Christmas is coming and I feel guilty once again.. They spend $125 on me every christmas and birthday.. and I Feel like I am being selfish or something.. OH.. and also, in the past.. I bought presents for my brothers friends, my sister, brother in law, and cousin... more than once.

It depends on the girl and how old she is. Some girls like technology stuff more than makeup and some girls like makeup more than technology stuff. And some girls are girly an others are more tom-boyish. If she likes technology more then buy her some thing like an Ipod Touch, nano, Iphone etc. Or maybe a camera, or a cellphone if she doesn't already have one. I really depends on the girl If she likes makeup more than get her lots of makeup, probably good quality makeup like MAC but it doesn't have to be MAC. Any makeup like eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, lip gloss, lipstick, foundation, powder, etc. Make sure that the makeup goes with her skin tone because if it doesn't then she won't be wearing it too much and then that would just be a waste. If she's more on the girly side then get her stuff like makeup, and nail polish. And last but not least, clothes and shoes. If she's tom boyish, then I don't really know because there are really different types of tom boys, sporty kinds, etc. If she's more sporty then get her sports equipment and stuff like that. And if you can't think of anything just get her a giftcard from her favorite store or just give her money. Really, the present just depends on how old the girl is and what her hobbies are because not all girls are alike. I hope that I have helped! :)

Everytime I ask them, they say 'I don't need anything', but I always go out of my way to buy, or even make them something. Small or big, it just shows you care.
