If i use my poratable drive for pictures is it also on my hard drive on my laptop?
I used a poratble drive to upload pictures to a site to get the pictures printed off. I never had to download them to my computer first. Are the pictures on my hard drive on my laptop for someone else to access?

No.
It sounds like you accessed the images to upload. If that's all you did, then no your images are on your portable drive and up on the web where you uploaded.
