What are some good classical piano albums?

I've been playing piano for 6ish years, and I'm getting into the originals such as Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Edvard Grieg, etc. I enjoy listening to classical piano, but I don't really know where to start. Could you give me suggestions?

Congratulations on your choice to pursue music! Some of my favorites are "Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No. 3 in D Minor" The pianist is Arcadi Volodos and the conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic is James Levine. This includes the full concerto plus some other works by Rachmaninoff. Also: Martha Argerich's "Chopin: The Legendary 1965 Recording." Some of these are solo, others are concerti. If you like Baroque music, Glenn Gould's series of Bach's French Suites is a superb recording. "Chopin: 4 Scherzi, Berceuse, Barcarolle" performed by Maurizio Pollini is also fantastic. Also, Daniela Ruso's "Songs Without Words" collection by Mendelssohn is a fabulous set of piano music.

Chopin would be my recommendation -not too gigantic pieces but lots of short solo piano pieces. Pure bliss!
