Using me for citizenship?
I, a caucasian American, have just started dating a guy from Kenya. He is here on an International Student Visa. He is in pre-med with me, and we met in our biology lab. He is totally different than most Americans. He is very sweet and supposedly I am his second girlfriend ever. He is 21, I am 19. He wants to spend all his time with me and seems to care about me very much. However, before he started dating me my twin sister noticed that he was very interested in many American girls... even her. He denies this, and seems very quiet but I really don't think my sister would lie to me. Furthermore, he keeps talking about a life together already. He is saying I love you after knowing me for just 2 months! I don't know what to think. I know people from African countries are known to use Americans for citizenship (I'm not trying to be racist) and im worried. BUT, he does say right after college he wants to move back to Kenya where his family is supposedly weatlhy. I know love is blind and so I may be falling for a trap, but he seems legit. He is very smart and seems financially stable on his own. Why would he use me? Do you think he is?
And within the last five minutes... he suggested moving in with me in a few years and possibly not moving back to Kenya. =( Is there any other way he could easily get citizenship besides using me?
What I meant by that is isnt there an easier way for him to get citizenship besides marrying? Seems extreme to marry just for citizenship, but seems you cant trust anyone anymore... Thanks for all current input. I think I am going to break up with him. Many valid points.

Not sense 9-11 can you marry someone and then get citizenship. He might still think that he can do that but he cant. It seems that he is trying that. If you do get married and just say you have a child. He could take that child back to Kenya and it would be hard if not impossible to get him are her back. Just saying. I would really watch yourself. He still has to apply for his citizenship. Hope this helps some.

If he is so wealthy suggest he and you visit his family and you can how really see how wealthy he is. Also make him bring along your sister for a chaperon. You also have to asked yourself if he really wants to back to Kenya would you really want to live there. Are you the same religion if not would you will want to convert and raise your children in his faith. Women are not treated very well in most African counties. I would say he is using you are a green card, but only you can decide that.

I think it's quite possible yes. Be especially wary if he asks to marry you after only knowing you for a relatively short time as that will be his ticket to a green card.

I think you are right, he's using you, he knows full-well that his best chance of staying in the United States is via marriage to a US citizen.
I spent time in Kenya back in the 90's. I know why he's using you.
