President is head of state and prime Minister heads Government. President is above Prime Minister. In Parliamentary Democracies like India, President is titular head and real power is with Prime Minister. Many countries like Pakistan and Iran have peculiar constitutions not conforming to patterns of Presidential, Parliamentary or constitutional democracies practised in U.S.A., India or U.K.
