For the RN's out there, my aunt who is an RN, made a comment that my mother looked like she had heart disease?

She is an RN and has been one for most of her life....do you know what it means or what it looks like?

She might have been short of breath after some activity, her fingernails could look curved down at the ends, her nailbeds might look dark purple, her ankles might be very swollen - all could be indications of heart disease. And, if your mother has any of these, she needs to work with her family physician to get the medications needed to keep her symptoms under good control.
