MJ FANS!!!: Why are people so bent up on Joe Jackson?

just like Michael said. I don't hate him. He makes me sick and it breaks my heart that he could be so ruthless to his children, but Michael forgave him to a point, and Im not going to hate anyone. I dont think I have that capability anymore. To me Joe is just the father of an amazing group of children. Nothing more, nothing less. Just like my biological father is just that, biological.

Not all Michael fans HATE Joe with a passion. I know I dont. Cuz without him WE would never have known the genius and sweet childlike man that was Michael.

I know where you're coming from. And to answer your question...yes...the bible does say that.

On a personal note, being abused as a child makes you think different towards your parents. I mean try to view it from their point...Your parents are supposed to love you and care for you. Not abuse you. Joe didn't give them much love growing up which is why they are bitter...

As for us, we are viewing it from the outside like everyone else we don't know how they grew up and what happened to them as a child. Some people might like Joseph, and that's fine. But, the kids, the family..they know how he's really like.

For example someone can be introduced to my father think he's the nicest person ever...but I know the truth...just like the Jackson children know the truth about their father.

I've told my friends and other family members how my father is, most of them have actually saw how he really is. Do you think they like him now? No...because they know, they've witnessed and/or believe me...because I'm not the only one who says bad stuff about him & they are hateful towards him.

Like with us, we are michaels fans...so we believe him. & no he did not abuse me, but he abused my idol...I can't imagine why anyone would want to do that. That's why I am hateful towards Joe Jackson!

I did not make my father abuse me...and Michael did not make his father abuse him...they chose to.

if am ever one of the interviewers of Michael... i would have asked him the questions ... if he started to become a victim of his father and his childhood.

Joe Jackson would not have made Michael Jackson each and every thing that he exchange into. i think of besides the certainty that Michaels life had many extreme's to it, and he had an incredible occupation, i think of he exchange into an fairly remoted, and afflicted guy simply by lifetyle he had to stay... and thanks to the early life he did have. If he wasn't so close to to babies, he wouldnt have been accused of what he exchange into accused of, and that i think of that accusation is what broke him and ruined his occupation, so in many methods i think of joe broken Michael better than made Michael.

I agree. Joe but it all together. Now I dont agree with any of his tactics. What kind of parent teases his own child, especially one as sensitive as MJ. But regardless of his physical and verbal abuse, he put it all together. Plus, he never stole anything from any of his children, neither did he let anyone cheat them out of anything. I read "Moonwalker" and in it MJ gave Joe much praise.

Probably because his years of abuse made Michael the freak that he was. -shrug- I like judging people by their actions, we all do. As a matter of fact, isn't this question a judgment?????

first off i am not sick of MJ questions, so bring them on! 2nd off i dont like joe, not because he beat his kids, that's in the past and it was a different time then, but i dont like him because he has proven to me that he is nothing but a money hungry, sad, pathetic, adulterous, piece of crap. i mean the day after MJ died he is promoting his labe? and then he hooked up with that man leanard rowe to try to discredit the lawyers that MJ hired so that joe could get his hands on MJs money, and then he is filing to get money off his dead son! he seems like he has this attitude that he owned MJ, and is always trying to get MJs will thrown out because he is claiming that MJ was out of it! i mean he left his money to his mother and his kids, and charities! it doesnt sound like he was out of it at all! why is joe so quick to try to discredit MJ? i mean i think that if joe could he would try to get every single cent and leave the kids penniless.
