DNS is basically known as Domain Name services, which identifies your website for your computer when you are browsing online.

I.e when you try to browse yahoo.com it quires and find its IP address (Logical address assigned to each computer) 87.248.113.14. Each website having its own and unique IP address which help to make them differ and unique around the globe. These IP address are not easy to remember and there are many around the world so its easy to remember by their domain names, like in above given example. Basically DNS will do mapping with domain name to IP address for each website.

now, if you want to change DNS IP on your computer, if its windows then go to control panel > Network connection. Then click on "local area connection"

Then in coming window select IPv4 and double click on it.

There is a DNS field mentioned within open window where you have to configure new DNS entries.

Just click OK to all and you are through.

Try to browse any of the website and it should work.

Let me know if you have more queries on this or not succeed.

What is DNSReset and why do I need it?

Windows Active directory based computers, rely on DNS server settings and DNS server suffixes to connect to network resources. The problem is that in order to change DNS IP settings and DNS suffixes is a manual process for each computer. This poses a problem when you are required to change those settings - you may have many systems on your network that use different configurations. You would manually have to go into the network settings of each system and reset the DNS IPs or suffixes. DNSReset allows you to select multiple systems and view or change DNS settings with ONE operation.
