The Obama's first state dinner? Gee, it would have been good to have had one of those for our oldest,?

In a week of thanksgiving, when the American worker has never been more worried, Obama prepares a feast for India, and gives a toast

"To the American worker, whom we all hate"

The starving and unemployed of the US can press their faces through the railings of the White House, hoping to get a glimpse of the glitterati in attendance and perhaps a crumb or two thrown to them to help feed their starving families. Oh wait, I thought we were talking about Marie Antoinette. Not a good time to be doing this due to the economy and while there will be oohing and aahing over Mrs. O. in a nice frock it is just poor timing - especially the extravagance. State dinners are all very good and well but not when we have so many problems to deal with.

Beautiful point. Take a star. I wonder what they will have. There's an awful lot of Pork being cooked in washington these days. Does Obama eat pork? I wonder who's going to run through the looking glass in Obama's wonderland? Has any of them said "Off with his head" at any time? We sure do know who's going to pay for it, don't we?

Whether legit or not, he does hold the office, and with that comes state dinners. The dinner table is not what should anger you.
