Onion is growing in my refrigerator but it's not rotten?
its growing what looks like a stem and the roots are growing too it seems. But it looks fine (not rotting). What should I do?

use it. the green tops taste just like chives but a bit stronger.
And by the way, if it was rotten, it wouldn't grown. thats a healthy onion you got there.

Haha, that happened to me me once too. I put some onions somewhere, forgot about them and suddenly there was a whole plant. Either plant it and grow your own onion-plant, or throw it away. You can't eat it anymore.

You need to throw that out. The root starts in the center of that onion and you can't eat that part that's started to sprout.

Have you ever heard of food poisoning? I wouldn't take a chance, throw that onion away, as far as possible!!! I just wouldn't keep it.
