Question about Caramanico, Italy?

My great grandparents immigrated to the U.S. from Caramanico, Italy. I've seen pictures and it looks beautiful. Has anyone ever been there? What is it like? Is it a large city? Is it touristy? Thanks to all who answer.

    Never been there.

As you can see following the links below, it is a small town turned village.

It is at 613 meters of elevation, at the foot of a mountain.

It had more than 5000 inhabitants when your ancestors emigrated, but now it has only about 2000 inhabitants.

It is not very touristy. The only tourists are other people from the same Abruzzo region (or perhaps also from Rome), that go there for its spa, for its summer mild climate, or for trekking.

    It has just one hotel.
