How do you make a Diecast NASCAR car?

I have made some by taking paper and printed it and but it on with tape but it looks ugly. So any hints for me?

i buy nascar diecast cars but i make/build nascar plastic model kits, there fun to build.go to ebay or a local hobby shop and check them out, there cheaper to buy than diecast and the best part is you build it.

ok the first thing you can do is take an old diecast car you have and go on the computer and print out car layouts or nascar 09 templates and take the templates or any sponsers/ number styles you want print them out and tape them to the car i prefer tape with this process because then you can take it off and use the old diecast if you ever want to again. or you can go the harder route and paint an old diecast car and paint it the color that you want then find the sponsers and number styles you want and glue it on after your custom car has dried with this process it is perferd that yu glue the stuff onto the car. i hope this helps.

Check at your local hobby shop for decal making products. Then just make your drawings into decals. Make sure you get some "Decal Set" as well this will make sure they smooth out nicely and stick well.
