Because of the word association I'm not sure I'd use it as a first name. I know a teenager Miles who's a very nice boy, and able to laugh at his name, I'm sure once you grow into it, it'd be fine, and you coud appreciate its uncommon appeal, but that would depend on the mentaility of the person.
I'd probably use it as a middle name, Elliott Miles is cute.

Miles jonah, Miles Raymond, Miles Richard, miles Robert, Miles trevor. Love the names miles. i think of someone calm who is able to fix stuff.

It's okay. I would use it as a middle name, it sounds good with a wide variety of first names.

I like it a lot, used either way. But I tend to prefer the spelling Myles (and using y's instead of vowels is unusual for me) becasue Miles reminds be of the distance. like "miles and miles to go."

Because I was a fan of the show Frasier, it is virtually impossible to like the name Miles.

I like it because it is smile take away the s and put it at the end and you get MILES i think its cute

I know a guy named Miles, and he gets called (jokingly) "Kilometers"... I'd used it as a middle name.
