How do animals get H1N1?

and can they get a shot for it because i have a cat and dog.

    cats and dogs can get it same as humans, but w/cats i think they can also get it through saliva (being bitten, etc)

    Yes, some can but others are immune. As far as i know Turkeys and pigs can get it, there are probably many more
