What qualities make a good answer for Yahoo answers ?

The answer should be factual as opposed to opinion based and backed up by reference links and/or personal experience.It should be to the point and not digress from what was asked.Many times I see people answering a question and they go off on a tangent including all sorts of information that does not relate to the question and that was not asked for.Some questions can be answered in a few short lines whereas some require detailed descriptions.Injecting a small degree of humor can sometimes enhance an answer depending on the nature of the question that was asked,but for the most part the answer should stick to the facts and be well thought out,correct and informative.

i think the best answers are short, and funny but informative.

all above....I wont read novels either. Short and sweet
