If a weapon was to think for itself, should it be allowed into society? Every year, more and more people die because there ARE weapons like that in today's world. These weapons are known to brutally kill people, and without them our streets and parks would be much safer. Indeed, the pit-bull is a self thinking weapon. They make up the highest percentage of canine attacks on humans, and are vicious animals, with some exceptions. The government should recognize this, and deem them wild animals, causing them to be illegal to own or breed; as are bears, cougars, etc.

Congress should pass a law that bans anyone from owning or breeding pit bulls because all pit bulls are considered a deadly weapon to own, have the highest percentage of canine attacks on humans, and parks and streets would be much safer without these dangerous animals.

A word choice change and a more parallel sentence...

You might say something like:

Congress should consider American Staffordshire Terriers, the breed responsible for the most attacks on humans in the United States, a deadly weapon and should place legislative restrictions on their ownership to keep streets and parks safer.

note: I said American Staffordshire Terriers because that is their proper name.
