What would your Thanksgiving Day have been like if you could have invited your favorite characters to dinner?

If you could have invited twelve of your favorite literary, film, or television characters, Y!A contacts, artists, writers, celebrities, or historical figures you admire to have joined you for Thanksgiving today, who would have been gathered around the table? Would they have gotten along with your family, friends or whomever else you spent the day with and made you hope to have them all back next year, or would it have been a dramafest you'd never wish to repeat?

Bonus Questions:

1. If you’re not an American, what made-up, magical holiday would you have celebrated today with your guests instead of Thanksgiving?

2. What would you have served for dinner? (This question was inspired by an amazing macaroon I just munched on that Nora from “A Doll’s House” would absolutely adore, and I would have made certain was offered as a dessert if she could have joined us for Thanksgiving.)

3. Where would the dinner have been held?

4. What would you have done after the meal?

5. If you had given a prayer of thanksgiving and expressed your gratitude to your guests, what would you have said to each person gathered around the table?

And on this day of giving thanks, I'd like to express my gratitude for my awesome contacts who are the reason I keep returning to this site. Hugs to you all. : )

Thanks in advance for all answers.

Update:

Billet: As promised, I released your faceless imaginary friend from my hostage when you met the ransom demand of submitting an answer to this question with your usual flair & whimsy. The hostage experience radically changed your faceless, imaginary friend's perspective on life. He's no longer faceless! And he's no longer a he! The first thing he did upon being sprung from captivity was go shopping for a face on Ebay, and the one he liked best was a girl's, so that's the one he / she placed a bid on and was thrilled to win. The magnetic tug of Sephora was too strong for her to resist, so her next step was to get a complete makeover. She is now the most stunning imaginary friend imaginable!

I do have a bit of bad news for you. She was quite miffed you left her on the bus, so she's decided not to return home to your brain. Even after all that time on the bus, she still loves public transportation, so she's now riding the Beverly Hills trolley, and is working part-time as a tooth fairy.

Update 2:

To all you fabulous, imaginative people who wrote fabulous, imaginative answers: THANK YOU! : )

Noooo Lark! Gimme back my faceless long-lost imaginary friend I left on the bus!!

    You've won!

You have to let him go now!

To anyone else who reads this, I swear I'm not on anything ... yet. I totally have to get drugged up in about an hour.

    Should be great.

I like this question. And because I am officially on SUMMER HOLIDAYS, I do not feel guilty about spending an hour to answer it.

First off, my table is going to be round, with a red and white checkered tablecloth - like the picnic rug sort, so everyone can sit around it, grinning stupidly at each other, and we can have staring competitions.

The twelve I'd bring, would be:-

*** The Mad Hatter. I need some competition. Lately I've been classed in the top ten most insane people in my year, because I decided that spinning around in circles, doing lolly-pop steps across the main quad and singing "Party in the USA" at the top of my lungs would be fun.

And to think I wasn't under the influence of anything!

The Mad Hatter and I could have an 'insanity-off!'

    Yieww!

*** Second would be Mr. Potato Head. For sure. I've always wanted to dine with a potato.

*** Third would be SKYLARK! (aka Dami). Because a) you're an inspiration to everything I do and b) you'll bring a pot of good food.

I'm kidding about b) by the way.

Plus, who doesn't want to meet one of their role models? It'd be whacktastic!

*** Next is my Y!A contact, Lyra. Lyra is seriously the cheese to my macaroni. She's great. She's my favourite little crackpot :p

Another one of my role models! I only have a few of these.

I mean, as much as I hate Lyra and her frequently spamming my inbox, I actually kind of love her.

*** Fifth would be Fitzwilliam Darcy - froth. Who wouldn't want a man like Darcy at their dinner? He'd be so gallant! I don't know many gallant guys. I'd love a guy to stand when I entered the room.

*** Sixth is definitely JK Rowling. Discussions of Harry Potter for hours, anyone? It's like a dream come true :D

NOTE: I have to edit this later because I'm expected at the doctor - I don't want to be quarantined at Sydney Airport tomorrow morning.

I'll come back, extremely drugged up and extend this with strange details ...

You can keep my imaginary friend locked in your mind a little while longer :p

Continuing, now that my hands are vibrating and my pupils are dilated.

*** Seventh person at my dinner party is my Y!A contact, Joshms. I initially wanted to marry Joshms, but no. He's already engaged.

    *slit slit*

He can come anyway. I think I should just invite all my Y!A contacts to this shindig.

Joshms is really cool. That's why he's coming.

*** Shelby Shazam comes next, by default.

Kidding. She's coming because she's exciting.

Shelby is insane, but in a good way. Like, I'll read something she says, and seriously laugh so hard at it.

(Why am I having chicken soup in 35 degree heat?)

*** Origin, come next, because we're getting married. Fo shiz.

*** Tenth person at my feast would be Frank Sinatra. I don't know, I really admire Sinatra. He is one of my top 5 musicians of all time.

I have over 20 songs of his on my iPod. He's great. So many great songs have been written from his music.

*** Eleventh person would be BATMAN! Like, seriously. Who wouldn't want Batman at their Thanksgiving dinner?

*** And finally, I'll give the last seat on my table to my grandmother, who died in early 2006.

    I miss her :(

She had such a nice house, and when I went up to Northern Australia to visit her, all my other family would be there too. I seldom see them, now that she's gone.

She was a fantastic chef too.

    Bonus stuff.

    1) I wouldn't make up a holiday! I'd love to celebrate Thanksgiving one year. They had the NY parade on TV yesterday, and it looked great!

Australia really does nothing like that. I mean, we have Mardi Gras, and that's about the best parade we have - celebrating homosexuality.

    Awesome.

Plus, I know how much Thanksgiving means to you guys, so we'd keep it traditional.

But I'm bringing Vegemite. I don't care what you say.

    2) Dinner ... Turkey? What else do you eat at Thanksgiving?

@ Origin: No, I didn't know that! Because the only Thanksgiving experience I've had is when I watched that episode of the Simpson's and Bart ran away from home.

But, I'd make sweet potato casserole (courtesy of Joshms: sweet potato, marshmallows, baked)

Also, VEGAN food! For you, Lark. I really admire you being a vegan. My little sister is a vegetarian, and her food is so much better than mine.

    3) Hogwarts ... Obviously.

    4) We are gonna to get married on top of a mountain, and there's going to be flutes playing and trombones and flowers and garlands of fresh herbs. And we will dance till the sun rises. And then our children will form a family band. And we will tour the countryside and you won't be invited.

    :)

Or we can just play Twister.

    5) * Mad Hatter: I admire your insanity - bring it on.

    * Potatohead: You are amazing.

    * Lark: Thank you, Lark. Your actions have always been admired by not only myself, but others too. Everything you do (singing, writing, art, dance) is amazing.

You make me wish I'd never quit ballet or art, or pushed my singing to a further level.

    * Lyra: Dearest Lyra! You are my favourite. Forever and ever. Thank you for always making me smile :)

Thank you for being a friend, despite the distance.

    Thank you for caring.

    * Darcy: You are amazing, and I wish that there was a man like you for every girl.

    * JK Rowling: Thank you for writing Harry Potter. So much of my life has been owed to this novel.

    * Joshms: Thanks for being a friend and for making me laugh. Distance is a problem here, again. But if we knew each other IRL, I think we'd be pretty good mates.

    * Shelby: Thank you for being so entertaining. Some of the things you say absolutely make my day.

If there was a test for sense of humour, you'd get 100%

    * Origin: I want an Aztec themed wedding.

    * Sinatra: I have always admired your music. Your voice is fantastic. Thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing.

    * Batman: You have the most insane car ever.

    * Grandma: I miss you, so very much. If I could see you one last time, I would apologise for the lack of communication between us.

And how it broke my heart when you didn't recognise me right before you died.

    Thanks for this, Lark.

I'm off to your homeland tomorrow :)

    @ Lyra: Aww!! ♥

@ Felix: Queens Birthday Holiday = amazing.

I totally agree with you about the holiday thing, though. Australia Day is going to be awesome next year!

    Mr Potatohead, Billet?

You know that mashed potatoes are part of a traditional Thanksgiving meal, right?

    My twelve:

    1: Dead Space Girl

    http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/...

I will ask her why she's so angry.

    "EXTRACTION IS AN ON-RAILS SHOOTER?!"

    2: Posh Spice

    3:Sporty Spice

    4:Baby Spice

    5:Ginger Spice

    12: Scary Spice

    BQs

    1. If you’re not an American, what made-up, magical holiday would you have celebrated today with your guests instead of Thanksgiving?

1: Canadian. I will make up a magical equivilant to Thanksgiving except it shall be in October and no one will care about it.

    2. What would you have served for dinner? (This question was inspired by an amazing macaroon I just munched on that Nora from “A Doll’s House” would absolutely adore, and I would have made certain was offered as a dessert if she could have joined us for Thanksgiving.)

2: Anything but Turkey. I hate turkey. Probably KD or something.

    3. Where would the dinner have been held?

3: In the dining room, silly.

    4. What would you have done after the meal?

    4: Karaoke.

If you had given a prayer of thanksgiving and expressed your gratitude to your guests, what would you have said to each person gathered around the table?

5: No one touch the croissants until after I get mine.

  • The people gathered around my table would be:

You, Kate, Emily, Tess, Edgar Allen Poe, Abraham Lincoln, Holden Caulfield, Will Smith, MLK jr, Rodney Dangerfield, Neon, and Ryan.

I think they would've all gotten along with my family pretty well, because besides the eccentricness of Poe, all the people I chose are pretty fair induviduals. Ahaha.

    2. What would you have served for dinner? (This question was inspired by an amazing macaroon I just munched on that Nora from “A Doll’s House” would absolutely adore, and I would have made certain was offered as a dessert if she could have joined us for Thanksgiving.) All the basics, of course. Mashed Potatoes with gravy, turkey, mac and cheese, dressing with cranberry sauce ♥

    3. Where would the dinner have been held? In my ginat mansion. Actually, I like the idea of having an outside dinner. It would've been in a beautiful setting during night with lights all above so we could see.

    4. What would you have done after the meal? Talked to each one of my heroes about life.

    5. If you had given a prayer of thanksgiving and expressed your gratitude to your guests, what would you have said to each person gathered around the table? Goodness. I would have expressed to each one of them how glad I am to have met them and how beneficial each one has been to ME in their own way.

Thank you for showing me this. Brilliant question, Sky (do you mind me calling you that?). =]

Twelve people, you say? Okay. Is that more or less than eleventeen? I've never been good with math, but that sounds like a very small number. Anyway, I guess I'll just have to make do with what I have. Now.

1- Calvin and Hobbes, for the fun and the laughs.

2- Socrates or Galileo, for the entertaining conversation.

    3- Mulan, because she's awesome.

    4- Dallas

    5- Ron Weasley

    6- Hypocorism

    7- ck1

8- Scar from The Lion King, and of course his three hyena minions.

    9- Dr Seuss

    10- Rory Gilmore

    11- Grendel

    12- Anne Shirley

I assume my immediate family's a given, so in total we will be 22 people; I'm sure it will be an eventful night, which is the understatement of the year. There's someone for everyone, if Anne can bring Marilla with her to keep my mom company. I hope Grendel will be happy, though, since he's always been excluded from these kinds of get-togethers.

    Bonus:

1- I'm American, but I don't celebrate Thanksgiving. I've only ever had turkey at school lunches and once on a plane ride, and I like it cold in sandwiches. Yams and sweet potatoes do not sound appealing at all. There must be candy corn, though; I'm a big fan. I had candy corn Hershey's Kisses today; first time I've heard of them. I'm not very fond of apple pie, and only liked pumpkin pie the last time I had it. Instead, I will serve cheesecake, and we'll have spicy potato soup and everything else that we ate today because it's the Eid :) We have to have corn and radishes too. Date- and pistachio-filled cookies, too. Tea, fruit, raisins&nuts, and one of the three Cs (candy, cookies, cake) always turns out to be our dessert. Did I mention the cheesecake? On a side note, I went into the university bookstore the other day and noticed they'd started selling vegan cookies, which reminded me of you :)

2- I answered number two up above in number one . . .

3- Not at my house; I would hate to have to clean up the mess and I'd never get around to entertaining my guests; I have this thing where all the dishes must be washed before I can sit and rest.. Actually, never mind; we're having it at my house. It will be loud and cramped, and I'll leave all the dishes in the sink for later. Then for the snow fort war (see below) we'll go to the playground two blocks away. There's a hill there too for sledding, although it's a little on the small side.

4- We would have gone outside and built snow-forts and had a massive snowball fight! Then we'd play Calvinball! After all that fun and excitement, we'd go inside and watch a movie or play charades. We'll take lots of pictures, too, just in case we never get a chance to do this again.

    5- Thank you,

Calvin, for inventing such a great game, and for saving the world from the forces of evil.

Hobbes, for helping Calvin with his math homework.

Socrates, for setting people straight in an entertaining manner.

Galileo, for writing down your thoughts for us to read.

Mulan, for making me laugh and starring in a great movie.

Dallas, for being a dreamer and seeing silver birds.

Ron Weasley, for making everything so much more comical, and being an idiot.

Hypocorism, for all of your words.

Thank you, ck1, for your kindness and thoughtfulness.

Scar, for providing us with such an astounding musical performance.

Dr Seuss, for writing the book about our nonsensical dinner.

Rory Gilmore, for being intelligent and beautiful

Grendel, for not eating the guests tonight.

Anne Shirley, for bringing the raspberry cordial.

And thank YOU, everyone, for bowing down to my supreme power as ruler of he galaxy. Your gifts and sacrifices have been duly noted and appreciated.

    Source(s): *** Aww, thanks Lyra; you're invited too :)

I'd be needing one HUGE dinning room table. The one we currently have is already too small for our abnormally large family.

    Character #1: Bilbo Baggins.

    Character #2: Regina Spektor.

    Character #3: JK Rowling.

    Character #4: Jack Sparrow.

    Character #5: Inigo Montoya.

Character #6: Lyra [in the Christmas Spirit].

    Character #7: Hermione Granger.

    Character #8: Billet-Doux [In America].

    Character #9: Joshms.

    Character #10: JRR Tolkien.

Character #11: Homer. I'd like to say that I'm talking about the ancient Greek epic poet, but unfortunately no, I'm talking about Homer Simpson.

Character #12: Homer. Now I'm talking about the ancient Greek epic poet!

    BQs:

    1. If you’re not an American, what made-up, magical holiday would you have celebrated today with your guests instead of Thanksgiving?

    I'm American:)

    2. What would you have served for dinner? (This question was inspired by an amazing macaroon I just munched on that Nora from “A Doll’s House” would absolutely adore, and I would have made certain was offered as a dessert if she could have joined us for Thanksgiving.)

The classic turkey, mashed potatoes, fruit salad, rolls, and whatnot.

    3. Where would the dinner have been held?

My dinning room:) (with a super long table that would probably strecth into the livingroom)

    4. What would you have done after the meal?

Play Balderdash. It my be difficult with Homer (the poet) since he doesn't speak English, but we'd manage.

    5. If you had given a prayer of thanksgiving and expressed your gratitude to your guests, what would you have said to each person gathered around the table?

Bilbo Baggins. Thank you, Bilbo, for going on such great adventures and writing them down to make such a great story.

Regina Spektor. Thank you, Regina, for creating such wonderful music that has inspired so many!

JK Rowling. Thank you, JK, for changing so many lives with your talent.

Jack Sparrow. Thank you, Jack, for being the greatest pirate there could ever be.

Inigo Montoya. Thank you, Inigo, for being such an awesome character to read about.

Lyra [in the Christmas Spirit]. Thank you, Lyra, for giving such helpful and funny answers. And thank you for honoring me by inviting me to your own dinner! :)

Hermione Granger. Thank you, Hermione, for being the most relate-able character I've ever read about.

Billet-Doux [In America]. Thank you, Billet, for always being able to make me laugh:D

Joshms. Thank you, Joshms, for having such amusing stories about your life to tell us:p

JRR Tolkien. Thank you, Tolkien, for being an amazing writer and inventing fantasy as we know it today.

Homer Simpson. Thank you, Homer, for always making me laugh and cheering me up.

Homer. Thank you, Homer, for being an amazing poet and realizing so many things about human nature that most of us didn't want to believe.

(Notice my contacts are the only ones who got smiley faces? That's just how awesome you guys are.)

12 people you say. Damn, can't invite Mr & Mrs Beaver from the Chronicles of Narnia.

    Ok, I would invite:

    1. Shawn from the TV show Psych, because he's hilarious! I love anyone that makes me laugh. Plus, he'd have hilarious stories after all the jobs he's been through, and all the stupid stuff he's done. And he'd probably bring a pineapple upside-down cake.

    2. Elizabeth Bennett from Pride & Prejudice. I really like that girl. She seems like someone really easy to get along with, she's got a fantastic personality, she's bright and she's got spirit. She doesn't really mind what people think of her and I don't know... she just seems like someone you could have fun with and have a good chat with.

    3. Princess Yolande from the Letzenstein Chronicles. She's so graceful, elegant, polite, cheerful and she's strong. She's got qualities I desperately want, she stands tall and people look up to her. She knows what she's doing, she's determined, she took command when her husband nearly died and her country, family and friends threatened.

    4. Hermione Granger. She's my favourite character in the Harry Potter series. She's amazing. I'd just love to talk to her. :D

    5. Dean Winchester from Supernatural. He's hot, he's got a kickass attitude and if any demon dared to interrupt my Thanksgiving dinner, he'd give it hell. Plus, he's funny. Again, with the whole ''people who make me laugh'' thing.

    6. Taylor Swift. I really like her as a singer. Her songs are intensely genuine and very sweet, and I'm sure she's like that in person. She doesn't sing about getting drunk, taking drugs or shooting the police, she sings about crushes and love and dreams, which is such a nice change from the usual music you hear nowadays.

    7. Fred & George Weasley. Pretty much one person, right? The night would never be without laughter! :D

    8. Albus Dumbledore. This fellow is legen - wait for it - dary. (I've been watching How I Met Your Mother lately. Now suit up! Hahaha). And he's witty. Again, with the whole laughter issue I have going on... it's getting a little old isn't it? I'm awfully sorry, I just love to laugh all the time. I never stop.

    9. Jesus. :D The least I could do is invite him to my dinner...

    10. Angela from the Inheritance Cycle. She's really quirky and cool.

    11. Janna from the Janna Mysteries. She's pretty much like Elizabeth Bennett. They'd get on great :D

    12. Clark Kent. Yeah, that's right. Superman. But the Clark Kent from Smallville. He's just really nice. Plus, I'd get him to take me flying :D

I'm sure the night would go great. However, there might be some *clears throat* altercations. Dean Winchester and Jesus would probably get into a fight... well Dean would try to get into a fight with Jesus. Dean would be majorly pi\ssed at Jesus. You see, it's the apocalypse and Dean has to kill Lucifer and the demons and everyone is going off their nutter and God & Jesus are nowhere to be found. No one has any idea what they're doing and Lucifer is setting free the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse... man, I need to go to Supernatural Fans Anonymous.

Apart from that, I think the night would go swell. And yes, I did just say swell. It's making a comeback.

    1. If you’re not an American, what made-up, magical holiday would you have celebrated today with your guests instead of Thanksgiving?

I would have made up a holiday called Holiday Holiday. Seriously, Aussies love holidays. We'll do anything for a holiday. The only reason we won't ever become a republic is because we want to keep the Queen's Birthday as a public holiday and if we become a republic that won't happen. Anyhow, no one would care that is was a holiday for a holiday. It'd be the whole point of the holiday.

    2. What would you have served for dinner? (This question was inspired by an amazing macaroon I just munched on that Nora from “A Doll’s House” would absolutely adore, and I would have made certain was offered as a dessert if she could have joined us for Thanksgiving.)

    Dinner? I don't know. Ask the house-elves.

    3. Where would the dinner have been held?

    Hogwarts, without a doubt.

    4. What would you have done after the meal?

Talked. For days on end. I can talk *alot* with my friends. Imagine how much I could talk with my favourite characters etc. I would be able to talk forever. I'm not one of those people who never shuts up and just talks because I want to, I just like to get to know people. I like making jokes or having deep, intense conversations. I like being friendly with people.

    5. If you had given a prayer of thanksgiving and expressed your gratitude to your guests, what would you have said to each person gathered around the table?

My mind died. I can't think of something like that at 10pm.

Hahaha, my answers are terrible, I know. But I needed to answer anyway. :D

EDIT: Oops, I only did 10 people. Going to add 2 more ^

EDIT 2: @Amelia: Oh. My. Gosh. I LOVE CALVIN & HOBBES! Best comic ever. Calvin's facial expressions just blow my mind. I nearly die of laughter every time I read those comics.

    Oh this is greatttt!

Gosh the whole gang of Alice in Wonderlands tea party would be quite awesome and take away from annoying family arguments. Me and my younger cousins all love to talk about Twilight so maybe Edward and Jacob (i'm not a twitard but their teens so they'd love it), from books I'd LOVE Holden Caufield...his blunt attitude matches mine, we'd got along great and make the family laugh, Jane from Jane Eyre just cause I kinda feel sorry for the girl, get her a little make over then send her back to Mr. Rochester. Oliver Twist also out of pity, we'd fed him plenty so he wouldnt ask please sir can i have some more? I'd love to invite my book characters I made up as well!

    Bonus:

    2. LOVE that book...I'd serve them all something exotic like Chocolate souflee or Thai Mango Coconut bubble tea since most of them are British and need something with some spice.

    3. Probably just my house, or maybe at the Hotel Del Coronado one of the prettiest hotels ever!

    4. Watched football, talk about twilight, donate them my old clothes like I did with my cousin, play with the kids, teach them all how to play football maybe. Jane Eyre and I would have a talk about boys and how to win them over!

    5. We all go around saying why we are thankful, I'd thank them for all being awesome and inspirational book characters!

THAT WAS THE FUNNEST QUESTION EVER EVER EVER

  • 1 decade ago

My Thanksgiving with my favorite characters...utter chaos!

The dinner time conversation would be a lot of intellectual talks and heated debates with Cardinal Richelieu, Danny Saunders, and Atticus Finch. d'Artagnan would get into some sort of trouble with that awful temper of his. That boy has fire in his veins! Clarisse and I would take a long walk out in the woods just to enjoy every little unnoticed gift nature has to offer. Erik would interrupt each rare moment of silence with his earth-shaking music from Don Juan.

I can see Danny Saunders, Atticus Finch, d'Artagnan, and Clarisse getting along with my family. I'm not so sure about Richelieu and Erik. A power-hungry, hypocritical politician, (oh why do I love him so much!?) and an obsessive, scarred, and disturbed maestro who spends all his time in the basement of an opera house with idolizing an opera singer. I'm afraid Erik would scare my sisters, which would just upset him into an outburst.

What a Thanksgiving that would be!

    1. I'm an American, so this doesn't apply.

    2. I'd serve all the usual Thanksgiving foods (because you CAN'T forget the stuffing! that would be sacrilegious!), as well as pixie stix (yeah, laugh all you want. I'm having a sudden craving right now.), and shrimp chowder. Plus I'd have each character bring some dish that somehow relates to their book.

    3. Dinner would of been held at my grandfather's old house. That house with its huge backyard used to be my heaven-on-earth until he sold it. A great house with two fireplaces to warm yourself and gather around for conversation, a rec-room to goof in, and plenty of great hiding places for a game of sardines. The yard was huge with a garden, a lake, and lots of forest to stroll around and explore.

    4. After the meal, we'd all gather around the fireplace to talk, play some card games, look at photos, etc. Then we'd either play a game of sardines, watch the movie Elf, or I'd have d'Artagnan teach me how to sword fight.

    5. _I'll have to come back to this one later. 12:19 right now and I'm going to the early service tomorrow for church!

I would invite Batman, Harry Potter, Dumbledore, Shakespeare, Monty Python, Johny Depp, that weird blue girl that sings in "the fifth element", Gary Oldman, Kenny (from south park), and Tom Marvolo Riddle. But I would invite the Weasley's for Christmas! I don't think to much fighting could happen since Tom isn't HE-WHO-MUST-NOT-BE-NAMED yet. Plus, he can just kill Kenny instead =) The whole day would be spent acting as characters in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Cats" (cats for my own enjoyment) = ^ x ^ = My family might annoy my guests though. My mom would be all over Johny Depp. Dumbladore might get in a fight with my grandmother ( they would fight over the last lemon drop). But besides that, Monty Python and Shakespeare would make everyone laugh, Harry and Batman would protect us, Gary Oldman would be acting with Johny Depp. and of course me and Johnny would break out in song, singing the entire Sweeney Todd soundtrack. The blue girl would sing that weird song. And before anyone leave, Kenny would die (you bastard!)

    PEACE! <( ^ x ^ )>

All characters from Mortal Instruments (Jace, Alec, Izzy, Simon, Clary, Magnus, Joycelyn, Luke, Maia)

Harry Potter Characters (Draco, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Dumbledore [RIP], Tonks & Lupin [RIP], and Fred and George [RIP])

Twilight (Alice, Carlisle, Edward, Esme, Edward, Bella, Jacob, Jasper, Rosalie, Emmett)

    Those are the main ones.

I can picture Dumbledore and Magnus talking about spells and such. Then Lupin, Maia, Jacob, and Luke start exchanging wolf stories as Simon talks to Carlisle about him not sparkling and such. Alice and Izzy would be poking at Bella and Clary, picking them apart and talking about ways to doll them up and what not. Fred, George, Tonks, and Emmett I think would be pulling pranks and starting food fights at the table. Esme and Joycelynn I think would be talking and cooking most and just all around being the hosts. Edward would be with Harry I think, just talking about stuff (Like the Tri-Wizard Tournament or something...) x]. Jace and Malfoy I think would be in a conceited match or something, and just boasting that Jace is a Demon and Malfoy had the Elder wand--I can picture Rosalie sitting with them though. Hermione I think would be off with Jasper and Alec, talking about demons and vampires, and shed be fascinated. After Bella and Clary got all dolled up, I think they'd go chill at with Ron, who'd probably be quiet and watching a Quidditch match. Ron would explain it to them, then I think they'd sit around and chill.

    I'd love to see it!

    BQ:

    1. National Food Day. One kind of food from each culture and have a buffet of it. Like Harry and his group bring Chocolate Frogs or something like that. Jace and his bring fairy food or something. Esme would probably bring the most, because she'd be excited to be able to use her kitchen. Jake, Lupin, Maia, and Luke I think would be eating the raw-er things (and the most).

    2. Hmm... Turkey, raw-er meet, blood packages (animal blood), then the basics of course.

    3. The Institute for sure. It's big, and the perfect place for everyone to come! It'd be huge and big enough.

    4. Sat around, watching a Quidditch match as Fred and George introduced the others to Fire Wiskey :p A few drunk people, oh well.

    5. "Well... I know that everyone here has different religious views. Some think they're damned," look at Edward, "some are angels--literally," glance at Jace, "some had a connection with the Darkest of wizards," glance to Harry, "and some are Jewish," look at Simon, "so, thank you all for coming, and now--dig in, or drink up! Happy Thanksgiving!"
