Isn't Janet Jackson a little underrated?

She's VERY underrated!!!! It's ridiculous the way she is treated my the media and radio. I don't think I have heard any of her songs on the radio!

Everything you said is soooo true. She's gorgeous, she's on of the best entertainers and performers.... EVER! Did you see her solo during "Miss You Much"?? Phenomenal!!!

She's better than Madonna, Britney, Mariah, Beyonce, and every other female performer!

I think throughout her career, whenever she is mentioned or interviewed, MJ is always brought up, and it's sad because she's an artist of her own, and is always referred to "MJ's little sister" and not "Janet Jackson".

And "Make Me" is one of the best songs of the year, and it is not played on the radio, I've requested it many times, but nothing. I still think people are fussing over the Superbowl performance, and it wasn't even her fault.

But ya, she's underrated, and I hope the next album she comes out with next year proves a lot of people wrong!

Where have you been? JANET is one of the top selling artist in the music industry with over 100 million albums sold and and numerous sold out World Tours.

Janet has already cemented her spot in music history, she has set records no one has yet to break. The biggest being, Ms. Jackson was the FIRST female artist to ever have an album debut as No# 1, people thought it would never happen, but the JANET album made them all take notice.

and YES I too agree, she is waaaaaaaay better than Madonna and has created the blue print for other artist like Britney, Beyonce, and Rhianna among others to follow.

Yes: i think she is veryy underrated. i love her and i agree she is 100x better than madonna, brit, etc. i dont think she is respected enough.

Yes, she is underrated, and she beats the socks off of those others. I love her new song Make Me, and I like how she puts in some lyrics from the name of one of Michael's songs.

I think she is just as amazing as her brother Michael Jackson! She is like the female version of Michael Jackson! not because she is his sister but because she is very creative and she thinks like Michael Jackson!

In her prime she definitely wasn't underrated, but in discussions nowadays about Pop artists , yes she is, she is hardly ever brought up.
