1993 honda shadow - How do I remove the seat to take out the gas tank?
I need to remove the gas tank because the bike has been sitting for over a year and I also need to change out the battery. I need to know how to take the seat off. I got a diagram of bolt being on the side of the bike and there are no bolts on the side. Please add details to remove seat. Thank you

The seat probably flips to one side. You may have to remove a screw or two to get this done.
The bolts that secure the seat are on the inside of the seat. You won't see them until the seat is flipped.
