4-10 Shotgun( Diamond Arms Company)?
I have a 4-10 shotgun my father gave me and i woud like to know more about it. I know that the patent on it is 1913. It was my great grandfathers gun. It came from Diamond Arms Company in St. Louis Mssouri. Any info would be appreciated.

Diamond Arms was trade name used by the Shapleigh Hardware. Co. of St. Louis, Mo for shotguns they sold. They didn't make them but had them made by other companies, most likely Crescent Arms, Co. of CT, who where the largest makers of "hardware store" shotguns of the time. Since it is a small bore .410 it should be worth about 15 to 20% more than the $150 to $200 a very good condition 12 gauge would bring.

it's spelled .410, as in a caliber, only shotgun cartridge not to use the gauge scale.
