attractive: no polish, pink, blue, aqua green, or SOMETIMES black if i am in the mood for one of those sexy punk/goth girls (but thats not too often haha)
unattractive: yellow (makes you look like you have down syndrome and your parents painted your nails for you), or grey (makes you look boring).
Source(s): look: your nails are sort of like video games for guys, or sports for guys. they are something you girls care alot about, and think that guys MIGHT care about.... but in reality, most guys don't give a damn about nails. i mean, i dont really care either. aside from NOT having the color yellow nails, i could care less. really. if a hot girl who i liked had yellow nails, it wouldnt even matter id still hook up with her or date her. like, its not important, the nails. girls think nails are important cuz girls worry about style. guys when they see girls, worry about 3 things: looks, personality, and sex appeal. if you had a nosering or something sl*tty, guys are gonna respond to it- they will either be turned on or off, depending on the guy and his mood. but neutral fashiony things like nails, no guy gives 2 sh*ts about. - Anonymous6 years ago

Odd colours. Anything that ISN'T: Black, Red, Pink, White.
The only time anything else can be used is when it matches something. Like a blue dress with Blue (Same shade) Nails, or Green, or Orange.
I would say Yellow, Brown, and Grey are just a no go.

It's really something that varies from person to person, but I would say not to wear black, as it gives off some emo/goth vibe that would give me pause. Other than that, I normally pay more attention to other things about a girl - things like her personality, her interests, her looks.... I usually don't even notice what color nail polish a girl is wearing.
Oh! And don't wear those long fake nails - they're gross...

Me personally i don't want my girl to wear any make up or nail polish. If they really like the way you look you would be fine without all the stuff.

some guys don't care what color as long as they are colored because I have a friend like that. the first thing he looks at is if a girls nails are painted

Usually I prefer a woman NOT to wear make up or nail polish at all, but I love a nice perfume.
However, I like a nice classy French Manicure the best if I HAVE to choose something.

I hate nailpolish and long nails. Keep em trimmed up, long nails look ridiculous!

I can guarantee you 100% that exactly zero guys notice nail polish colour, or nails at all for that matter, unless you have some horribly disfiguring fingernail infection. Zero.

assorted shades of red to pink. All the other colors make you look stupid, like you are trying to get attention.
