That is why they tend to have infatuation on celebrities and hope they meet guys like them someday. However, it is only a matter of time before their infatuation wear out and then they start to want earthly men.

Hi, Daddy! is totally right. Girls really can be shallower than guys. These days, I see a lot of couples with better-looking guys and less-good-looking women. Not the other way around. That only happens in movies, with the tall, statuesque blond and shy, short guy. However, if you're in shape, smart (this is extremely important to girls, so nerds, you have hope!!!) a nice guy (though we sometimes do like a little bit of bad-boy...), and not TOO ugly (and you don't sound like you are), trust me, you'll find a girl. And do you really want the best best looking girl out there?? There are plenty of nice, pretty, intelligent girls out there, looking for someone special.

however, i wont deny that there ARE girls that only go for looks. just like there ARE guys that only go for looks too. depends on their individual personality really. trying to classify either the XX or the XY genome into 'shallow or not' will really bring you nowhere.

what I've seen is that guys base there relationships more on looks

you don't have to be celebrity hot. trust me. you just can't be Freddy Kruger ugly if your somewhat good looking an not too fat no offense to anyone sorry! but if your somewhat good looking an not to chunky an really funny or something you can get girls trust me.

Girls are generally shallower when they're actually girls. When they're divorced and thirty-something, they'll settle on a nice guy who will raise their kids.
