The Rockets want to make sure that TMac is totally recovered before they bring him back. An insurance policy just kicked in which pays the Rockets back 90% of his salary for every game he misses. The Rockets don't want to pay TMac his full salary (and remember he's the highest-paid player in the game) if he's only going to be able to play 15 or 20 minutes at half-speed. Obviously TMac wants to come back as soon as he can, since his contract expires at the end of the year and he wants to show that he's healthy so that he can get a good contract next season.
