Water accumulating from an apartment above me?
I live in an apartment where people live above me in an refurnished "attic" because this place was an old vicorian, well anyways in my kitchen I noticed a waterspot which would be directly below the other tenants bathroom. I ignored it cause it was light and looked like it dried. Well then there was two. Now there are five and one is fairly big and I just noticed that its becoming dark brown? Does anyone have any suggestions or maybe tell me what I should do besides the obvious which would be to call my landlord which i have done. He said the people upstairs do not have an overflow on their bathtub? Thanks for any help!

Have a word with the people upstairs and ask them to check their bathroom for leaks. If they don't find any it could be caused by them splashing too much while having a bath or they could have a shower fitted over the bath with an inadequate shower curtain.

Tell your landlord to get it fixed, before it costs him and arm and a leg to replace the walls and floors, and possibly even framing. There is nothing you can do to stop or prevent this.
