*English reading assignment, which book would you choose?

I have a choice for English class to read one of these three.

1)The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway

2)Native Son by Richard Wright

3)An American Tragedy by Theodore Dreiser

Which would you choose?

Any comments regarding length of book, comprehension level, and level of entertainment (or lack there of) would be greatly appreciated.
