They have destroyed Michael Jackson, So why are they trying to destroy tiger woods.?

When anyone of Mr. Wood’s stature messes up, there will be fiendish paparazzi and people trying to get a good story out of it. Unfortunately, people seem to have no lives and love it when successful people make mistakes.

I do not see how you could possibly think this story is comparable to Michael Jackson, but I’ve also been too busy with my own life to follow the story.

1. The media builds people up, to be sure, but tearing them back down again is what really sells newspapers and attracts eyeballs to TV shows. The dynamic here is called schadenfreude -- taking pleasure in other people's misfortunes.

2. So what? What do you care? Are you friends with Tiger Woods personally that the tawdry goings-on of his personal life make any difference at all in your life? If you look up to Tiger, then you'll look past this stupid little incident and cheer him on at his next tournament and that will be that.

Who are 'they'? Nobody is after Tiger Woods. Much as he tries to avoid the limelight, he IS a celebrity, and his wealth is due to that. As a celebrity, his actions produce interest by the media. Add a very odd sounding accident, plus his refusal to talk to police, and he's just leaving the road open for more speculation.

If he was as smart as he seems, he'd own up to what really happened, take his lumps, and the media would get bored and move on.

His accident was on a public street, the police are REQUIRED to investigate, and that is their job..

I really despise Fox New's they try and destroy everybody it seem's like it. It's annoying when they call him Jacko, he didn't like being called that, and he didn't deserve to be called that either, it's just immature. I think that they need to leave him alone really, they're making a big deal out of the children not being his, but that doesn't matter because he raised those children. It's like they're saying "It's not ok if you adopt" basically, and it's stupid. I've been trying to avoid the new's ever since he died, because they still don't know how to respect him, and they never will, because they are money hungry jerk's. Your right!! No they are not after him. If it had been you or me we would not be left alone. So why should he. He hit a fire hydrant(county property) and a tree(neighbor's property) so that is why they needed his info. So he could be held liable for the damages just like you or me. He is not special because he is famous.

No, i think he could have been drunk or something. the police are just doing their job, cut them some slack. Dont you think its a bit strange that someone crashes their car that early in the morning in their own neighborhood?

if Tiger just simply did not leave his house at some strange hour, there would be no story...so blame Tiger for being at a minimum, stupid.
