Problems running ISO on psp?
I have a PSP brite 3003. I installed ChickHen and then CFWEnabler 3.6, so the system is now at version 5.03 MHU. I put an ISO into a folder called ISO on the root menu. When I go into Game on the psp menu, then browse to the memory card, I can see the image of the game. I select it, a white psp screen with noise comes up, then the screen goes black, then back to the psp menu, and an error message - The game could not be started. (80020148). I have a UMD in the psp, and I've used the 'select' menu to change UMD ISO mode to all the options listed, but to no avail. Any suggestions?
Thanks anyway, guys - it is possible, got it working now. Apparently I needed to use 5.03 GEN-B instead of CFWEnabler 3.60.

You'd be lucky to get custom firmware for the psp3000 brite.
That's what you need to play isos since you need an emulator to mount them. It's the only reason I got ma the 2000 instead of the 3000.

Newer models cannot run pirated software. I think the version that can run pirated software is version 2.x, maybe 3.x
