Question about payin for a Hotel Room?

Do all hotels make you pay with a credit card? I was wonderin for future references, because i don't have a credit card. Is there any other way?

    For the most part only some small hotels or motels will let you pay cash but you would need to leave a deposit depending on how much your final cost is expected to be.

    The major hotels want a credit card at sign-in.

    Credit card is not a must, but most Hotels will require a deposit for cash payment.

    You can often pay cash upfront, although ID may be requested. Some may also allow you to mail them a check in advance.
