Pregnant on the pill? Could I be?

I have been taking the pill now for a little more than a month. I took a whole month last month (my first month after getting my IUD taken out) and now I am on the 2nd week of the this pill pack. I am taking Ocella (the generic for Yazmin). Everything has seemed to be fine. But I am not sure now.

I had my period but it was really light. And now I am not on my period, and I am having wierd bleeding and cramping, nausea, and some dull lower back pain.

Could I be pregnant?

(I have 3 kids, and I have not been on the pill for a long time and I don't ever remember getting bleeding in between periods on it.) I had been on the IUD for a year.

I've noticed,I'm on yasmin as well, (ocella) and my periods are shorter and lighter.Very very light and short occasionally. It's normal with ocella I would think. I'm not pregnant, and have had the same things you're having. Check with your dr,as I'm going to mine at my next apt which is next week. Mine has been a LOT lighter this month,at least on the first couple of days. It's straightening out now as the inactive pills are picking up.

It is possible to have a "pill baby" getting pregnant on the pill but most likely your body is reacting the the chemicals from the pill. Being on the pill prevents you from have full on periods as you would off the pill. If in doubt buy a home pregnancy test and check
