I found I had the same GPA from high school to college to grad school. But I certainly feel smarter than I did just a few years ago.

Eh it depends on how hard your school is. I was getting incredible grades in high school. I felt like I was on the top of the world. And I wasn't taking easy classes. Now, I'm kind of struggling or just doing "okay." It's because a lot more effort has to go into your work in college compared to high school. Almost everyone at my school (University of Michigan) is as smart or smarter than me.

You are the same person, but because is so demanding and challenging, you push yourself to the limit of your comprehension and thus become smarter. What took you a year in high school now only takes 15 weeks to learn in college. While my grades are still the same, I feel a lot smarter than I was a couple of short years ago.

Nope, it's because the classes are more tailored to your interests! :-D I love that I now get to stop taking boring classes I would never use and get to focus on my major. . .
