    All harry potter series books !!

    Honestly, as pathetic as it sounds, the book that I can remember making me saddest was Where the Red Fern Grows. Now, keep in mind that I was about 10 years old at the time that I read it, and that I have always loved animals. But I remember feeling incredibly sad as I read the ending of that book... Best wishes!

    Lord of the Flies by William Golding. It is an absolutely fascinating way to look at the social contract and the origins and establishment of living in a collective society.
