which politician do u like..only Indian politicians...?

Well...I've read a lot about her and the impact she made on Indian politics was huge. I was kinda blown away when we read about how she lived and how she was assassinated by her own body guards.

Some of career highlights are-

* India's triumph in the 1971 India v/s Pakistan war which boosted the moral of the whole country.

* The signing of Shimla Pact with Pakistani Premier Z.A. Bhutto and the signing of Indo-Soviet Treaty of Peace

* Nationalization of all the private banks which I consider was a magnificent move to bost country's economy.

And...after doing all this for the nation she died a horrible death as her own body guards killed her by shooting 30 bullets in her body.

The night before her death she told a political rally: "I don't mind if my life goes in the service of the nation. If I die today, every drop of my blood will invigorate the nation."

Not only politicians, a great majority of our people are also corrupt. Without people being corrupt, how can the politician or leader become corrupt. But very few are really good. I read in the newspapers some time back that Mr A.K. Anthony, Defence Minister is having only a few thousand rupees in his account and was staying in a very small house belonging to his wife. Even this house is taken on a loan. I also understand that Mr Anthony was also cycling to the Secretariat when he was the Chief Minister of Kerala. If all these are true, then he is great.

I like Lal bahadur shastri very much.

because he was leader who resign from his post of railway minister after a train accident on the behalf of moral responsibility. he set an example for our leaders to take responsibility instead of getting involved in the accusation game. if our leaders, not only leaders but every indian learn from that then india can be a stable superpower within next 15 yrs.

no living Indian politician is liked by me.

There is not a single politician whom we can love. Everybody is busy in fleecing poor public and hoard money in their coffers. Why you think the prices of every single thing – even the basic food items, is inflating by each day. This government has given free hand to industrialists, traders, businessmen to loot the public at large. Less said about the opposition is better. There is no demonstration, no voice – either in parliament nor outside- against this corruption.

i hesitate to call sardar manmohan singh a politician..i think of him more as a statesman..

among the politicians i do like...the new young brigade out to conquer the world and with a good chance of doing it find a good place in my heart..sachin pilot,rahul gandhi,meenaxi natarajan,krishna byre gowda..these are people with not just great education..wharton and cambridge for gods sakes..but also a great vision..of transforming india..their efforts in democratising the youth conress have me gaping and wonderiing how hard they must have worked for it

omar abdullah commands both respect and liking because hes probably the only man in the entire country who would kick the cm chair on a matter of honour

then there is my ultimate favorite of all time..sheila dixit..you will scarecely find a woman of more strength and courage..and the work she has done blows me away..as an outsider(kannadiga)..perhaps the development going on in delhi is more apparent to me than to its citizens who would take it as a normal thing

of course S.M krishna seems like a nice man...did a good job on bangalore..better than anyone else

then there is chidambaram who is one of the best home ministers we have had in some time..

pranab mukherjee because of his socialist values seems like a good man too

shashi tharoor makes me laugh..he's constantly getting in trouble..cattle class and what not..but after reading his books..i dont find him quite as irritating

lalu prasad yadav makes me laugh with his comedy..not humour ,comedy..but thats about the only thing i can recommend about him

mamata bannerjee has a great connect with the people..she did come from a revolution of sorts..in any politician that commands respect..if not liking..

in the bjp i like a lot of people actually...arun shourie commands respect because of his work during the emergency.

nitish kumar because of his growth agenda..god knows if he pulls it off..he'll be god in bihar

naveen patnaik cause he refused to be bullied by the bjp and let them spread their hindutva

ab vajpayee..even though his image will never again be the same

i feel sorry for rajnath singh..he's a post man of the rss..i pity him

then there was ram manohar lohia..visionary to say the least..

jayprakash narayan..truly a freedom fighter..kept fighting for freedom till his last..even kicked the pm post not once but twice..you just have to respect that

sometimes i think sitaram yechury might not be such a bad guy

arun jaitley is just irritating..he speaks nonsense but speaks it confidently..got..i wonder if he has brains

there is infact only two or three politicians that one could really hate and not have any respect for..

one is lk advani for he is a really irritating man..a liar and a traitor to india..started the whole communal agenda

other is narendra modi..he is an advertisement professional..infact..get down to it..he is orwells big brother..he lies about development in gujarat,he lies about his role in gujarat riots..a down right scum bag..he belongs behind bars

yeddyurappa for he has worsened the condition of banalore..less said about rural karnataka better..and he let muthalik get away in an ac car..and less said about flood management better

sushma swaraj cause..she doesnt seem to have two words to say for her own..does she even have a brain?..everything she says is a repetition of what lka has said a moment ago..never have i seen a woman come down to such garbage slingng against another woman..
