    When ever ones body exert a force on second body the second body will exert a equal and opposite force on the first. For example if you hit the wall with your fist it hurts right, its because the wall exerts the same amount force back to your fist. Hope that helps! =)

    The action and reaction can get cancelled only if they are acting on a single point.But in the case of events (explained by 3rd law) the action and reaction do not act at a single point. For example when a ball is thrown on a wall the action is on the wall but the reaction is on the ball that is the reason why it bounces back
