Well the second disc on Halo: ODST is the complete multiplayer experience. You get the original Halo 3 maps. Then the Heroic, Legendary, And the mythic map packs(Including Citadel, Longshore, and Heretic.). It has a forge option as well. And the second disc is exactly like the original Halo 3 Except for the fact that it has no campaign. It will have all your saved videos, Maps, Gametypes, and your fileshare. Your armor will remain the same because its the same as the multiplayer on Halo 3.

    This hopefully answered your question.

My best advice is to wait for ODST to come out, and watch all of the reviews before you make your decision. If its terrible and everyone hates it, then go safely with Halo 3. If all your friends are playing is ODST and the game critics can't get enough of it, then ODST is probably a better buy. Also, Halo 3 is probably a lot cheaper by now, I think it came out back in 2007, so it's fairly old. It shouldn't be $60 anymore.

    1. Yes, and you get every map available.

    2. Yes.

    3. Yes, you will have all your armor and everything else.

BUT! You will not get the Halo 3 campaign.

    Source(s): I own Halo ODST.
