Need help remembering an old song Michael Jackson sang.?

Question

trying to remember the song michael jackson sang in his much younger days. Slow, love, but sang with such adult emothion as if he had experianced it himself. Wowed the older folks because it was so emotion filled. Might have a connection with Fred Astaire or frank Sinatra... I am drawing a complete blank... Thanks for any help.

I mean OLDER!! Like when he was about 10 maybe
