I prefer to get a good clean by the power of my own hand. Sometimes I find the vibrations from electric toothbrushes painful, annoying or to loud. Currently I have an Oral B sonic pulsar, sometimes I turn it on for and extra polished feeling, but I stay clear of my gums. I had a crest spin brush which made my gums bleed.

Manual. They are cheaper and they work just fine. What happens if the motor decides to up and quit?

I used one of those til the tip came off and almost spun down my throat. I'm back to manual now.

Maybe my stroke is too rough.
