i like this guy and asked him to the school dance...no....so i said ok. i asked him to go out regulary...no... i keep trying different things but he keeps saying no. but he always hangs with me and we kid around together. and hes ususally hitting on my but....AUGH! HELP!

there might be two reasons for this..
.one is that he he likes you and he might be scared to go with you on a "date"
.two is maybe he just wants to be your friend, i hug my guy friends at school, hang with them all the time, and kid around with them too
,butt if he is hitting on you then he might just be really flirty, flirts with every girl and cant help himself.

It sounds like you might be rushing things...have you tried talking to him about your feelings when you hang out with him? It could be that he is just nervous around you, like all guys are around a girl. He could want to make the first move and ask you out maybe, but if I were you i'd just talk to him and ask him why he's turned you down. Or just forget about it and just have fun with him :) hope i helped!
