having shopped three years in a row for multiple hip hop dance costumes, I found it's better to buy different things from different stores and put it together stead of buying a style/outfit sold altogether as a package.

That way you all can kind of wear the same thing (pants, shoes, etc) but have some personal flexibility in terms of accessories and shirts.

If you REALLY want to use things from your own closet, I suggest put together something that's black with either red or gold. Stay away from pastel colors, blue and pink.

Also, since it's hip hop, what about colorful sneakers? Pastries, Nikes, Converses. The white adidas and black plane Nike's are so outdated on the stage. So if you're wardrobes are diverse, I'm sure you can find something.

Hey so I hope you guys chose to go with something that is not competition hip-hop. Things like fishnet shirts and jazz sneakers look ridiculous and are not real hip,hop. I suggest doing like plain baggy sweats, a half-top, and like a hoodie unzipped with the hood up maybe and hoopp earrings. As for shoes just wear sickk shoes like nikes. Good luckk
