I have a DVD and I want to copy the movie in it to the computer first (before I transfer it to an iPhone).
So, I need the steps of how to copy a movie from DVD to computer. (This is the main part).
And then how to synchronise that to my iPhone. (You don't have to write how to do this, it is optional).

You just need to convert your dvd and video to mp4 video, then you can add it to your iTunes library, plug in your iPhone to computer and sync your iPhone, that's all. If you need detailed info, here is a step by step guide for you, it's easy to understand and works pretty well for me

You have to use a DVD ripper to first copy you DVD to your computer. Then convert your DVD file to a mp4 format file. Then open up iTunes, add to library and sync. Easy :).
