Good Combat Game for Playstation 3?

Question

I participate in a fundraising-like activity which requires to buy gifts to kids who may not otherwise have any.  I have a 15 years old who requested a PS3 combat game.  

LEAVING ASIDE YOUR COMMENTS ON HOW INAPPROPRIATE THIS MAY BE FOR A TROUBLED TEENAGE KID (I KNOW!), do you have any suggestions?

Depends on what you mean by combat. If you mean warfare, then COD Modern Warfare 2. If you are referring to a fighting game, then Street Fighter 4.

I love Call of Duty Modern Warfare.  

The game is probably the best combat game ever made.  Most people who played it agree.

the best fighting game that you want is a game which is 2-d because 3-d are all annoying and too complicated. get something like fighting fury. trust me on this one 2-d games are way better than the 3-d games there are nowadays..
