Best place to sit when watching a play?

im planning to watch the local version of Rent in the Philippines. and i was wondering where's the best place to sit or the best row to sit in orchestra centre, orchestra left and orchestra right. the tickets are selling fast in the orchestra area, so id like to have options.

here's the seatplan. http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AtpmvO-z1j...

When watching a play you want to be up one level and toward the center. The reason you sit on a second level is so you have a better visual. If you are in the front row you are straining your neck upwards and its VERY uncomfortable. And if you are on the floor you've got someone's head in your way. And sitting toward the middle give you better sound and a better feel for the stage.

  • Best place in that seating plan would be D14 or D15. You want to basically be as center as possible in relation to the stage. In classical theater they called this position "The Eye of The Duke".
