If buying contact lenses online...?

I've been looking at online contact lens retailers cos I am sick of Specsavers messing me about but when I'm entering my prescription details the site's SELECT boxes don't have the same cylinder measurement. I need -2.00 and -1.50 but the closest match is -1.75 and -1.25, is it safe to get these or should I go for higher (-2.25 and -1.75)?

Update:

UK<3hottie - they took money by direct debit even after I cancelled my lenses and refuse to give it back. Also, their so called "Free months trial" is NOT free, they take money for that too.

I'm talking as though to my daughter (don't go online).pls go to your local eye test centre. I just had a barnie with spec savers too. I now see them as the same as KFC & McDonalds etc. Buy one get one free. Go to your local, you pay bit more and get better value. End of the day spec savers etc, are just take aways, on line even worse. Every thing you see comes through these 2 little things in the middle of your head. They need TLC.

I'm using Specsavers contact atm, what did they do to you? It's possibly the best to see an optician, if you pick the ones don't suit you, they might give you headaches

Beware of the cheaper lenses and the restrictions they have on measurements. Any store providing these lenses should have almost any prescriptions available and if they don't you might not want to be shopping there. You should try:

it's not a good idea to get contacts that don't match your scrip. Maybe change opticians?
