Is Obama admitting with his new jobs proposal that his so called " stimulus " was a failure?

Can it be any more obvious of how clueless this guy is in how to jump start a capitalistic economy ? Thanks in advance for your answers. God bless.

No, not at all. Please, give the guy a break. We know you hate him because he's HALF BLACK, we think you should try to move past it and get on with things.

Like I'm sure the OLD GUY and the DINGBAT would be doing a better job.

God bless yourself. You need it.

    - GDP went up 3.5%

    - The Dow is almost up to where it was when Bush took office (up 33% since Bush left)

    - Housing Starts have been up (and down)

    - Factory orders are up

    - Unemployment held steady (I'm not calling 0.2% a drop)

    - The dollar has strengthened

The stimulus worked! The capitalist economy has been jump started! Keep ignoring data... We are on the path to a slow recovery.

My best estimations would put GDP as up another 2.8% (on an annual basis) for the next quarter. Unemployment will probably drop another 0.2% in Dec, 0.4% in January and almost 0.8% in February.

The stock market will probably drop in late december to around 10100 before revving up to 12000 or so by Feb.

1st Quarter 2010 will show recovery on the way and 2nd Q will show real recovery.

I think a Jobs summit 11 months in and 10% unemployment, pretty much tells you that it was an abject failure, The dude is a chain smoking know it all elitist Liberal, he has proven to be inexperienced and unprepared for the Job, He makes Bush look like FDR.

Obama made it clear that the stimulus needed to be passed immediately to keep unemployment under 8%.....and we all know it went up over 10%. Sounds like a failure to me

I dont know how people like "ooohboth" can get around that fact other than just completely ignore it and live in denial

The stimulus is a big trillion dollar (after interest) failure.

It is becoming obvious that the upcoming elections are beginning to weigh heavily on the President.

No - the stimulus money spent so far was to stop ginormous companies from going bankrupt - and stabilize the banks.

This is the jobs part now. It was planned this way.
