Is the blue light on the tower flashing...press power and it will return..then move the mouse...that's the energy saver

to avoid that happening again when you are leaving the computer for a while ..point your cursor to the little panel in the right hand corner and leave it there ...when you come back just move the mouse and it comes back.

Shut it down if it's mucking up..if you can't shutdown.. turn the power off at the wall for 30 seconds..then restart.

Just wait and see if it comes back to normal. If not, you can do a force shut down (for laptops, press the on/off button until it turns off) and start it back up. If you want it to stop sleeping, you can go to the control panel, power options and choose "never" for the sleep option.

that happens to all versions, just wait a few minutes then it should load the login page, after clicking in your password etc it should resume your windows session like before it went to sleep. :)

either slowdown, or go to power management and adjust the sleep time to never.
