Okay so I picked out a puppy today and getting him next Friday.
He is so cute ,but so feisty! lol.
I like the name Kodiak a lot, but you guys have anymore suggestions?

I say you name him Coda. When I saw the pic I almost immediately thought in my mine Coda from Brother Bear. Still Kodiak isn't a bad name either.

Kodiak is a little long, but try a shortened version like kodak, kodii,

you have to think about the personality of the dog as well as what your dog will quickly answer to.
most dogs will respond well to two syllable names and one or two syllable commands; many dogs like the 'eeee' sounds at the end of calls, so your Kodiak might have the nickname "Kodi".
