You can go shopping or drinking in most any city, but the Intramunos is scenic and has very interesting history. If you do that, just don't let those horse and buggy thieves give you a tour - a mistake which I once made.

Go to intramuros, its a walled city with spanish architectures. Like fort santiago, the basilica, i forgot the other places but its nice. Then luneta is close so you can detour there. Nothing to see there really except the rizal shrine. I tried to touch it but damn ha ha, i was chased away by a whistle blower. Perhaps next time I will get a touch down. Then near is the ocean park, but its mostly fishy not much to do than watch. Since enchanted is far, get to star city for a doze of adrenaline rush. Since the nearest mall is Mall of Asia , you end your trip there for a food/movie/shopping and stuffs.

I think you should go check out the biggest malls in the country.

SM Mall of Asia - second largest mall in the country, fourth in Asia.

SM North Edsa - largest in the country, second in Asia, I think.

Or check out Avilon Zoo in Rizal, it's the best zoo in the country.

Manila Ocean Park is also a good option.

You can also check out on Ocean Adventure, but it's in Subic.

I'm a Brit and lived in Manila for 1 year. Ermita has bars on both sides of the street.

get a massage, a manicure, a pedicure, and a haircut... it may cost less than $8 total.... lol..

go to a bar, ask a girl to drive around in a taxi for a few hours and show you the sights.. the cab fare for a few hours drive shold be less than $20. you may need to offer her boss $20 or so to leave work early..

    total cost ... $50 ...

    time well spent.. priceless.
