I am using a humidifier but still for last two days blockages, before I used to have jaw pain on left side if I chewed, at least that went away...any ideas on what it could be or how to get rid of it faster?

I have an enlarged Prostate, and currently taking a statin drug for high cholesterol. He did not want to put me on another medication so he asked that I just keep on keeping on. Now I am thinking I want to sleep longer before needing to urinate at night. Should I press the doctor for medication, and is there a drug that would allow me to sleep longer?

Today will be my 5th visit to the Physical Therapist, and I have seen some improvement at a great cost of physical pain. I am considering this as my last visit.

I almost have full range of shoulder, it does not hurt when I am not trying to do anything with it, and only have very slight pain if I attempt to use it where I am trying to lift something heavy.

I work as a bellman so I use it all the time carrying heavy luggage, and I believe it is working itself out.

I have bought a massage machine for my neck that applies heat and massage to affected area, and afterwards I ice it down.

I continue the exercises I was taught, and have seen great progress.

The actual Therapy is what hurts me the most, after leaving their office I feel like I've been through a war. I feel really run down and they have me going for seven more treatments at least if I include today.

What should I do?

I can tolerate the shoulder being as it is believing from what I have read about the condition that "TIME" is the great healer, especially if you continue the exercises.

Any suggestions?

I have been through four sessions and it has been pretty painful, first the ultra sound, then the extension of limbs (pretty intense, and often stretching my shoulder beyond comfortable to pain). I am finding that I have more flexibility than before, but I am not enjoying these sessions.

They finish with electric and ice...

I have a prescription for eight more sessions, and the way they talk, it sounds like they believe it will take a very long time to work this out. If I stop after the 12 session will eventually I get the flexibility back if I continued the home work (exercises I do at home between the sessions)? Thanks.

Hello everyone, I have not been on for years....I guess it's because the topic is a hard one to deal with especially when you have a loved one that had gone through cancer. Good news my wife is a five year survivor of TNBC. So, that is what we are celebrating, but now her aunt has been diagnosed with Esophagus Cancer.

My wife's aunt goes in for her port in a few days, they will also attach a camera there to actually attempt to see if the cancer had gone to her liver. All the scans and tests so far tell us that it had not gone into her lymph nodes, but the tumor itself is large.

Of course my wife's aunt cannot sleep, she is worried so much about the disease. She is 78 years old, and we are all praying for her. Apparently the tumor is below in lower part of the Esophagus.

And are we being blinded by this fact --- by the illusion we are living in? How does one escape the illusion? Further, I feel as in life, when they say you make your own reality, you do the same in death, so whatever you believe will happen....will happen.

So, you don't have to quote any scripture because of course it is what you believe in so it will happen as you believe.

Because of the truth thoughts are powerful, whatever you think, becomes your reality. So, how to escape the reality of cancer, or disease? If you can.....so can one change the illusion?

I am not sure of many things, except of what I feel with my senses....only an open mind can comprehend the illusion I speak of, so I am sure most people here are trapped within it...and if you are, like I am is there no escape?
